All full-time positions will be filled before considering part-time applicants.EFFECTIVE DATES:Mandatory Staff Orientation: July 2, 2025 (Wednesday)Program Dates: July 7, 2025 through August 15, 202516 Day Work Options (Must work either Option #2 or Option #3 in its entirety) ESY EMPLOYMENT OPTIONS:OPTION #1 July 2, 2025 (Orientation Day) + July 7, 2025 through August 15, 2025 Total of 31 days including orientation.OPTION #2 July 2, 2025 (Orientation Day) + July 7, 2025 through July 25, 2025 Total of 16 days including orientation. OPTION #3 July 2, 2025 (Orientation Day) + July 28, 2025 through August 15, 2025 Total of 16 days including orientation.Leave Without Pay will not be granted.Staff must be in attendance for Staff Orientation and the first and last days of the program for each option. During Staff Orientation Day, schedules will be established and staff are expected to set up classrooms. This is voluntary employment which requires a commitment from all applicants to attend all days in the option above including the orientation day.Appointments will be made pending enrollment confirmation. Some positions may be filled on a per diem substitute basis pending final enrollment confirmation.Minimum Qualifications:Teachers and Related Service Providers: must be NYS certified or able to meet SED certification requirements.Teaching Assistant: must be NYS certified. For new hires, preference will be given to candidates with 60 credit hours or Associates Degree and able to meet SED certification requirements.Teacher Aide: must have a high school diploma.Civil Service: must hold registration certificate and meet Washington County Civil Service requirements.
