Number of Positions:1 Salary: $70,000-$80,000, commensurate with experienceLocation : Varies, some travel requiredWork Hours: M-F ; 8:00-4:00This is a supervisory position responsible for administration of various HR/Personnel services to support a variety of Component School District needs related to human resource management, including: recruitment; onboarding; off-boarding; and the day-to-day management of the human resources function. The work is performed under the direction of the Director for Personnel Development. Does related work as required.Assists component districts with the development, implementation, and ongoing revisions to their recruiting, onboarding, and offboarding of their employees;Assists component districts with the administration of various personnel systems, electronic databases, services and employee relation programs to meet their needs related to human resource management;Assists component districts with accurate and timely guidance of applicant's credentials in accordance with applicable NYS Education Department\civil service laws, regulations, policies and procedures to determine whether the application and supporting credentialing documentation meets the requirements for appointment;Provide guidance and training on human resource policies, processes, and regulatory issues;Arranges regular informational meetings with component school district administrators and human resource staff to advise them of any changes in requirements for certification or civil service classification, develops and distributes materials for these meetings, and facilitates the meetings;Develops informational material and distributes to non-subscribing component school districts to promote the benefits of the Shared Support Personnel Services CoSer;Provides guidance and training district staff to analyze data to ensure overall staffing assignments and seniority are in accordance with the collective bargaining agreement; Act as a system manager and liaison with component district administrators for the creation of performance review schedules and maintenance in the electronic system, and advise administration on appropriate procedures;Coordinates the preparation of statistical data reports and assists component district staff in accurate electronic reporting to the NYSED through the IRS Business Portal (IMF, ePMF, TEACH).Minimum Requirements Possession of a Master’s degree in Education, Human Resources, Business or related field and twelve (12) months full-time paid work experience in Human Resource related functions in one of the field’s listed above; ORPossession of a Bachelor’s degree in Education, Human Resources, Business or related field and twenty-four (24) months full-time paid work experience in Human Resource related functions in one of the field’s listed above; OR Possession of an Associate’s degree in Education, Human Resources, Business or related field and thirty-six (36) months of full-time paid work experience in Human Resource related functions in one of the field’s listed above.Diverse candidates encourage to apply Note: Vacancies are filled by a certified list provided by Washington County Civil Service.
