Number of Positions: 1Salary Range: $92,960 -$98,110, commensurate with experienceLocation: Ballard Road, Wilton, NYHours: Monday - Friday; 8am - 4pmThis position provides support for school development services, including staff and curriculum development activities, assessments, planning initiatives and data analysis services, in component school districts and BOCES based on individual needs.Works in component school districts and the BOCES instructional divisions to identify necessary curriculum development projects. Provides direct curricular and instructional support for the component school districts.Meets with participating component district and BOCES leadership team members to establish goals and outcomes.Provides staff development, technical assistance, instructional coaching and facilitation of professional development activities in component districts, and on occasion in BOCES. Monitors and reports on progress and analyzes reasons for variance in each participating component district. Ensures that all activities are conducted in accordance with established professional standards and protocols.Researches local, state and national trends and best practices in staff and curriculum development, instruction, assessment, data analysis and school improvement planning, and integrates this information into professional development programs and support provided to component school personnel.Develops a work plan to provide program options that will meet the present and future educational staff/curriculum development needs of the participating component school districts.Provides instructional support to component district teachers through a formative supervision process (instructional coaching).Serves as a representative for the SCDN initiative which includes participation in state meetings and the development and presentation of professional development as needed.Assists with the development and implementation of new programs for the BOCES divisions.Performs other duties and/or special projects as assigned by the Director for Data Privacy and Professional Learning.Minimum QualificationsNYS School Administrator and Supervisor (SAS) Certification, NYS School Building Leader Certification, or NYS School District Leader CertificationBachelor’s Degree/Master’s Degree in related fieldSuccessful administrative experience (minimum 3 years)Successful classroom teaching experience (minimum 6 years in lieu of administrative experience)Knowledge of New York State Learning Standards and AssessmentsDemonstrated experience, interest and aptitude in staff and professional development, instructional strategy models, school improvement planning, and data analysisDiverse candidates are encourage to apply
