Number of Positions: TBDSalary: $50 per hour Location: TBDWork Hours: TBDResponsible for teaching driver's education using instructional methods in both a classroom and laboratory setting; Plan lessons and curriculum based on the learning needs of culturally diverse and multi-skill level students which prepare students to gain/increase skills in the area of drivers education;Ensures adherence to all safety standards and practices, including oversight, care and maintenance of facilities, equipment and materials;Plan and prepare relevant and practical class lessons and monitor student’s performance;Implement a variety of instructional delivery methods, that include group or individualized instruction as well as computer programs that help students make learning gains;Create a climate that encourages and supports learning;Complete and maintain appropriate student registration, attendance, and assessment records;Responsible for effective classroom management that enhances student learning;Perform other duties as assigned.Minimum Qualifications:Valid NYS Driver's License MV-283Secondary Education CertificationDiverse candidates are encouraged to apply.
