Number of Positions: TBDSalary: $25.50 - $35 per hour commensurate with experienceLocations: Southern Adirondack Education Center, Hudson Falls; F. Donald Myers Education Center, Saratoga Springs Work Hours: TBDResponsible for providing CDL training using instructional methods geared toward the adult learner in a classroom setting;Plan lessons and curriculum based on the learning needs of culturally diverse and multi-skill level students which prepare students to gain/increase skills in the area of CDL driving;Plan and prepare relevant and practical class lessons and monitor student’s performance;Implement a variety of instructional delivery methods, that include group or individualized instruction as well as computer programs that help students make learning gains;Create a climate that encourages and supports learning;Complete and maintain appropriate student registration, attendance, and assessment records;Responsible for effective classroom management that enhances student learning;Perform other duties as assigned.Minimum Qualifications:Demonstrated two (2) years experience as a CDL driver ANDValid NYS CDL A & B LicensureDiverse candidates are encouraged to apply.
