WSWHE BOCES, a public multifaceted educational organization dedicated to providing cost-effective shared educational programs and services that complement component school districts in strengthening the quality of living and learning in their communities, in which has an opening for a full-time, 10-month Business and Entrepreneurship Instructor with our Early College Career Academy (ECCA) at the Wilton Campus of SUNY Adirondack. The Business and Entrepreneurship Instructor is expected to plan, organize, and implement an appropriate instructional program in their assigned learning environment that guides and encourages students to develop and fulfill their academic potential. Work is performed under the supervision of the principal or other designated supervisor. Qualifications: Must be NYS certified or certifiable in:Business & Marketing; ORBusiness & Distributive Education; ORBusiness Management & Administration.Skills and Abilities:Demonstrates an entrepreneurship background;Works in a business environment;Understands the nature of small business start-ups;Plans lessons and projects based on given business curriculum;Manages a project-based learning environment;Able to work well with the business and industry community;Able to work with business associations connected to the business world;Able to teach in an interdisciplinary approach to show students how to connect core business skills, knowledge, and ideas in a way that allows students to see connections in how to business concepts are related;Demonstrates strong knowledge in Microsoft Office Suite: with a focus on Access and Excel.
