Weedsport Elementary School is seeking candidates for a Probationary Second-Grade Teacher position. Candidates should have a strong understanding of the developmental needs of second-grade children and be able to create a flexible, engaging learning environment that supports all students.Preferred qualifications include:Knowledge of early literacy instruction to support foundational reading development.A collaborative mindset and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.Excellent oral and written communication skills.Strong classroom management skills.The ability to reflect on and improve daily instruction.Experience with Professional Learning Communities Candidates need appropriate certification for the elementary level.
