The Weedsport Central School District is seeking candidates for an anticipated probationary Academic Intervention Specialist (AIS). This position will have a priority focus on grades K and 1 at Weedsport Elementary School. Candidates should be able to interpret student data, develop and implement an intervention plan, and communicate the plan with staff and families. A NYS Reading/Literacy degree is preferred, along with experience working with early primary instruction. Knowledge of and experience with the Science of Reading research and instructional strategies is also preferred.
