ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS: New York State SAS, SDA, SBL or SDL Certification QUALIFICATIONS: Minimum of two years of supervisory or leadership experience and/or ability to function as an educational leader Knowledge and demonstrated experiences in implementing standards-based instructional programs Demonstrated practice in developing effective professional development for staff, including both formal and informal evaluation of staff Effective practice in organization, student support services and parent engagement Must be willing to commit to a 3 year rotation as secondary summer school assistant principal Must be willing to work beyond the summer school program hours Excellent record of attendance DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Implement the instructional program Participate in all professional development including professional evaluation of staff Maintain safe, orderly environment Fulfill all program responsibilities including preparation of final evaluation report Attend professional development as scheduled Supervise and evaluate staff Other duties as assigned SALARY: As per White Plains Administrators’ & Supervisors’ Contract WORK SCHEDULE: Secondary Summer School: July 13-August 19, 2026 Monday-Thursday Summer School preparation will be required prior to and after Secondary Summer School
