The White Plains City School District is looking for a Reading Teacher for its Extended School Year (ESY) program. NYS certification in Reading or Literacy (Birth -Grade 6) is required. The position involves providing multisensory reading instruction at the elementary level. Wilson certification is preferred. The program runs July 6 - August 14, 2026 (Monday – Friday) from 8:00am - 12:30pm. There is a mandatory staff meeting on Wednesday, July 1, 2026 from 9 am – 3 pm. Compensation as per WPTA contract for Summer School Salary Schedule. Compensation is prorated based on days and hours worked.
