NYS Students w/Disabilities 1-6 certification is required for a leave replacement Special Education teacher position at Mamaroneck Avenue School. Position is available from September and will continue through February 1, 2027. This is a 12:1:2 position for students with Autism and other developmental disabilities. The selected candidate should have experience in the following: • working in a self-contained classroom with students who participate in NYSAA • with TEACHH or ABA • Behavior Intervention Plans, • Augmentative communication devices. Salary placement as per the White Plains Substitute Teachers agreement.
