NYS School Psychologist certification is required for a leave replacement School Psychologist position at the elementary level. Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply. Position is expected to be available at the end of April – June 2026. Aside from a strong background in Dialectical Behavior Therapy, experience in the following areas may prove to be helpful: Supporting students with social emotional concerns Supporting staff with behavior intervention plans and positive behavioral supports within the general education classroom Testing for the purposes of the Committee on Special Education Chairing subcommittee meetings Salary placement as per the White Plains Teachers Association salary schedule with benefits.
