Our Next Leader In Worcester, the school is the heart of the community. Our next Superintendent will be a visionary and committed leader who deeply values the students, the staff, and the community. Leading with empathy, kindness, and authenticity, our Superintendent will chart a clear vision for our district based on collaboration, communication, and a respect for both the proud traditions of the district and the challenging fiscal and demographic realities facing rural schools like Worcester. Our superintendent will be highly visible in the school and community; understanding the importance the school and community place on athletics, music, and STEM programs as well as the need to model respect and a strong work ethic. A transparent and thoughtful leader, our superintendent will serve as a collaborator and decision maker who consistently places students at the center of the work. Worcester needs an experienced administrator (preferably with previous superintendent experience) with substantial knowledge of the business aspect of school leadership; balancing the need to provide the best possible opportunities for students while providing fiscally responsible guidance to the Board of Education. Our Superintendent is someone who will invest their time, energy, and talents into our school and community; honoring our traditions while charting a path for the future of our rural school. We hope you will consider applying to serve as the next Superintendent of Worcester CSD.
