Full time position available at William Floyd High School In School Suspension (ISS) teacher Salary: $40,000 plus Health benefits Appropriate NYS certification required: Secondary teacher or School Counselor/Social Worker/Psychologist The ISS teacher will provide academic support to students assigned to the WFHS In-School Suspension Room. The ISS teacher will receive a half hour lunch per day and will not be responsible for an additional duty and will not receive a prep period. This position is a non-aligned position and is not part of the William Floyd United Teachers unit. Primary responsibilities include, but will not be limited to: academic supervision and the creation of an environment conducive to learning.
