Qualifications/Requirements:Ability to provide targeted instruction to small groups or individual students; employing various teaching strategies and resources to address gaps in understandingAbility to collaborate with classroom teachers, special education teachers, and other staff members to align math interventions with classroom instruction and ensure continuity of learning.Identify students who require additional math intervention support through assessments, evaluations, and collaboration with other teachers and staff.Design and implement individualized math intervention plans tailored to meet the specific needs of struggling students.Well-versed in Next Generation Learning Standards and Math Practice StandardsUtilize a variety of instructional materials, manipulatives, technology tools, and real-world examples to enhance student engagement and comprehension.Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that fosters student motivation, confidence, and a love for mathematics.Monitor student progress and regularly assess their understanding of math concepts, adjusting instructional strategies and interventions accordingly.Communicate regularly with parents or guardians, sharing student progress, discussing areas of improvement, and providing strategies for continued support at home.Participate in professional development opportunities and stay up-to-date with current research and best practices in math instruction and intervention.Contribute to the overall school community by participating in staff meetings, school events, and collaborative initiativesInterested candidates should submit cover letter and resume through OLAS
