Openings for Summer 2026 RamPowering ELLs Summer ENL Academy August 17, 2026 – August 28, 2026 4 Instructor Positions The Rampowering ELLs Summer Academy will provide continuous language exposure for ENL & Immigrant Students in grades K-6. ENL Certification/Experience Preferred Hours: 3.5 hours per day – 8:45 a.m. – 12:15 p.m. Days: Monday-Friday Rate of Pay: $200.00 per diem Location: Cornwell Avenue School Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Plan and deliver daily ENL lessons that focus on building students’ speaking, listening, reading and writing skills. differentiate instruction based on language proficiency level and individual need. Integrate academic vocabulary and foundational skills in literacy instruction within ENL instruction. Create a welcoming and inclusive environment that supports language acquisition and cultural responsiveness. Monitor and document student progress throughout the program. Communicate regularly with site-coordinator, and families as needed. Participate in any required training sessions or orientation, either before or after the program. Maintaining a safe, positive and engaging classroom setting aligned with district expectations.
