KENNEDY ELEMENTARY SCHOOL SALARY: In accordance with CSEA AgreementQUALIFICATIONS: Minimum of two (2) years of experience as an Assistant Cook or Cook Knowledge of quantity cooking, recipes and ordering Successful experience in completing production sheets, inventory and work schedules Knowledge of State Education Department meal pattern requirements Some knowledge of health hazards in food preparation and service and necessary precautionary measure Ability to use and care for standard cooking equipment and kitchen utensils for large-scale food preparation Must have ability to relate in a positive manner with students, staff and community Must have demonstrated ability to supervise staff and to work under pressure*Successful applicant will be required to get certified as Food Manager by the Suffolk County Department of Health.
