The Wappingers Central School District is seeking candidates to fill a Long Term Substitute teaching position starting September 1, 2022.To be considered for these positions, candidates must hold valid NYSED certification.Candidates must be appointed to the WCSD as a certified substitute teacher. Candidates for all substitute positions must receive WCSD Board approval as a WCSD substitute teacher prior to starting assignment. After fifteen consecutive days, our long-term substitute teachers are compensated at teacher salary according to their placement on the 2022-23 WCT salary schedule with the initial 15-day per diem payments paid retroactively back to the first day worked at salary level.
