The Wappingers Central School District is seeking substitute teaching candidates in all subject areas. Long term assignments may become available throughout the school year. Candidates for all substitute positions must receive WCSD Board approval as a WCSD substitute teacher prior to starting assignment date. Certified substitute teachers will be paid $120 per day. Uncertified substitute teachers will be paid $95 per day. In addition, effective January 1, 2022 per diem certified and uncertified teacher substitutes who sub for at least 100 days will get a $500 bonus (payable by the end of July 2022).Job Qualifications: Fingerprint clearance through NYS TEACH.
