The Valley Stream CHSD, a beautifully diverse school community, is currently seeking highly qualified candidates for a Probationary Middle School Band Teacher. The successful candidate must possess valid NYS certification. Experience teaching guitar, electronic music, AP Music Theory and General Music is preferred. Extracurricular opportunities include Marching Band Assistant, Jazz Band and pit orchestra. The ideal candidate will be highly proficient on brass or percussion instruments while demonstrating an ability to effectively teach all band instruments.
