VOORHEESVILLE CENTRAL SCHOOL DISTRICTNotice of Vacancy 0.8 FTE Speech Language Pathologist and/or Therapist The Position The Voorheesville Central School District has one 0.8 FTE, probationary Speech Language Pathologist (SLP/SLT) position working with students in grades K-12. The SLP/SLT’s duties will include providing direct individualized or group therapy for students with special needs in the area of speech and language, in addition to providing support to classroom staff in the areas of program modifications and inclusion. Salary and benefits are as stated in the teacher contract. This position begins as soon as possible. Qualifications NYS Licensed Speech Language Pathologist preferredASHA CCC a plusFully certified in New York State, as a Speech and Language Disabilities Teacher will be considered.Master’s Degree required.Experience at elementary and middle school level desirable.Strong academic record and references.Physical condition commensurate with the demands of the position.
