Director of Security and Emergency Preparedness Orange County Civil Service Position for the Valley Central School District F/T, 12 Month Provisional Appointment: Applicants Will Be Required to take the Civil Service exam for this title as soon as it's been scheduled with Orange County unless you are currently in a position in Orange County, NY with this same title. Duties will include; but, not limited to:Overseeing and coordinating the planning, development and implementation of a security program within the school district.Assisting in the investigation of all incidents on school property involving school personnel, students or the general public.Plans, develops and implements security and emergency planning procedures in accordance with Federal, State and local regulatory requirementsDevelops and coordinates appropriate workshops and trainings to keep the district current with changes in laws and regulations; acts as a liaison between all regulatory agencies, both local, state and federalAssists in the recruitment, training and evaluation of subordinate security personnel Please send responses to Marie Scott, Personnel Assistant, Human Resources Department.
