Valley Stream School District 30ESY PROGRAMExtended School Year (ESY) Program CoordinatorForest Road Elementary SchoolEffective Dates: June 30, 2025 through August 11, 2025Hours: 8:00 AM – 12:00 PMCompensation: $70.00 per hourPosition Summary:The ESY Program Coordinator will oversee the day-to-day operations of the district's Extended School Year (ESY) program for elementary students, located at Forest Road Elementary School. This role ensures the program is well-organized, compliant with NYSED regulations, and responsive to the academic and service needs of students.Primary Responsibilities:Provide on-site leadership and coordination of daily program operations.Offer support and guidance to all ESY staff members, including instructional and related service personnel.Oversee the scheduling and delivery of related services, ensuring alignment with each student’s Individualized Education Program (IEP).Maintain compliance with IEP mandates and New York State Education Department (NYSED) regulations.Serve as the primary point of contact for transportation coordination, including shuttle bus arrangements and communication with providers and families.Respond to and document incidents or concerns, ensuring prompt and appropriate follow-up.Manage student attendance tracking and coordinate staff timesheets and payroll submissions to the Special Services.Lead logistical planning and setup, including room assignments, materials distribution, and staff coordination during the two designated pre-program planning days.Qualifications:Valid NYS Certification in Administration/Supervision (SBL, SAS, or SDL).Strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.Working knowledge of IEP implementation and special education compliance.Ability to work collaboratively with staff, families, and transportation providers.In addition to applying on OLASInterested candidates should email, fax, send a letter of interest and resume to:Human Resourceshumanresources@vs30.orgValley Stream 30 175 N Central Ave, Valley Stream NY 11580
