Current NYS Registered License and malpractice insurance Minimum of two years experience caring for the elderly and/or chronically ill patients as an RN Documentation of at least one of the following: a. Certified to teach nurse aide or practical nursing b. Licensed as a trade school teacher of nurse aide c. Minimum of 3 years experience teaching nursing or nursing related programs to adults in an academic setting approved by the Commissioner of Education d. Minimum of 3 years experience teaching nurse aide in a residential health care facility e. Completed a professional recognized course teaching nurse aide to adult learners f.
