The ideal candidate will have had successful experience as a high school administrator who has demonstrated the ability to engage diverse stakeholders including parents, students, teachers, staff and community members. Minimum Qualifications:Master’s DegreeValid NYS SAS/SBL certificateMinimum of three years teaching experience at the secondary levelMinimum of five years supervisory/administrative experience at the high school level Demonstrated leadership skills in the areas of teaching and learning, data-driven decision-making, strategic management, organizational leadership and professional learningExcellent oral and written communication and organizational skills Responsibilities: Create and implement building-based goals aligned with measurable outcomes that are aligned with the District’s strategic planBuild a culture of trust and collaboration with teachers, staff and other stakeholdersFoster a student-centered school culture that promotes academic excellence and provides social, emotional and wellness supports for students. Ensure the safety and security of all students, staff and visitors Supervise, evaluate and support assistant principals, teachers and other staff while promoting a culture of continuous growth Ensure compliance with state and federal laws, board of education policies and regulations set forth by the superintendent
