We are seeking an ambitious and compassionate Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team. The ideal candidate will be dedicated to providing evidence-based treatments for individuals with a variety of intellectual and developmental delays, including those with and without autism. As an integral member of our interdisciplinary team, the SLP will play a crucial role in enhancing communication skills, promoting social interaction and play skills, and improving overall quality of life for our students. This is a Special Education Program rooted in Applied Behavior Analysis strategies as a best practice to improve quality outcomes for our students. We provide safe, dignified, and effective services through the use of evidence-based practices. SLPs as communication specialists focus on:Building functional communication so that our students can fully access their educationCommunicate their wants and needsExcel academicallyBuild confidence and social emotional well-being.SLPs also address any feeding issues and participate in ongoing observation/monitoring in this area.
