The Tuckahoe Common School District is seeking a qualified and motivated School Business Official to oversee all business and financial operations of the district. The successful candidate will manage budgeting, accounting, payroll, purchasing, and financial reporting functions, while ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations. This position plays a vital role on the district’s administrative team, supporting sound fiscal management and strategic planning.Responsibilities include:Developing and administering the annual school district budget.Supervising business office operations and staff.Managing financial reporting, cash flow, and auditing processes.Overseeing purchasing, payroll, and benefits administration.Assisting with transportation, food service, and facilities operations as assigned.Advising the Superintendent and Board of Education on financial matters.Qualifications:NYS certification as School District Business Leader (SDBL) or School Business Administrator (SBA) required.Master’s degree in business, accounting, or related field preferred.Experience in public school finance and operations.Strong analytical, organizational, and leadership skills.
