Job Posting: Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) Tuckahoe Union Free School District Position: Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) Location: Districtwide – Tuckahoe Union Free School District Start Date: September 1, 2026 Position Type: Full-Time, 1.0 FTE (Probationary/Tenure Track as Applicable) Compensation: Salary and benefits commensurate with experience and established by individual employment contract Interviews on a Rolling Basis Job Summary Tuckahoe Union Free School District seeks a qualified and collaborative Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to support students across grade levels with behavioral, social-emotional, and learning needs. The BCBA will work in partnership with administrators, teachers, related service providers, and families to design and implement evidence-based behavioral supports aligned with student IEPs and district initiatives. This is a full-time, districtwide position offering a competitive salary and comprehensive benefits package in accordance with district contracts and experience. Job Description The Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) will provide districtwide behavioral consultation, intervention, and training to support students with behavioral, social-emotional, and learning needs. The position includes conducting behavioral assessments, developing and monitoring behavior intervention plans, analyzing student data, collaborating with instructional staff and related service providers, supporting implementation of ABA-based instructional practices, and providing ongoing coaching and professional development. Job Responsibilities Assessment and Program Development Conduct Functional Behavioral Assessments (FBAs) and functional analyses as appropriate Develop, write, and monitor Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs) and related programming Utilize and model data collection systems to monitor student progress Analyze behavioral data and make recommendations for program adjustments Consultation and Collaboration Observe students in school settings and collaborate with instructional staff and related service providers Provide recommendations for behavioral strategies and implementation across settings Support staff in understanding and implementing behavior intervention plans Facilitate communication between school and home regarding behavioral supports Direct Support and Training Work directly with students and staff to model and teach behavioral and social skill strategies Support implementation of ABA-based instructional practices, including Discrete Trial Training (DTT) and Natural Environment Teaching (NET), where appropriate Plan and support social skills instruction aligned with IEP goals Provide ongoing coaching and professional development to staff Team Participation Participate in CSE/IEP meetings and other team meetings as appropriate Contribute to the development and review of IEP goals and progress monitoring Collaborate with district leadership to support behavioral programming and compliance Additional Duties Perform other duties related to student behavioral support as assigned by the Director of Special Education or designee Qualifications Required Qualifications New York State School District Business Leader (SDBL) Certification or eligibility for certification at the time of appointment Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Public Administration, Educational Administration, or a related field Demonstrated experience in school business management, municipal finance, public administration, or a related field Strong knowledge of budgeting, accounting, financial reporting, fiscal management principles, and financial controls Experience overseeing operational functions including facilities, transportation, and food service programs Strong organizational, analytical, communication, and leadership skills Proficiency with financial management systems, Microsoft Office Suite, Google Workspace, and technology-based business applications Ability to manage confidential information with discretion and professionalism Knowledge of applicable federal, state, and local laws, regulations, and compliance requirements Ability to work collaboratively with district leadership, staff, and community stakeholders Preferred Qualifications Master’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Educational Leadership, Public Administration, or a related field Experience serving as a School Business Official, Assistant School Business Official, or School District Business Leader in a public school district Knowledge of New York State school finance, budgeting, and state aid formulas Experience with capital projects, facilities planning, and bond-funded initiatives Experience overseeing transportation and food service operations Familiarity with school district financial software, transportation management systems, and records management systems Experience supporting collective bargaining and labor relations processes Strong presentation, report-writing, and public communication skills Demonstrated ability to lead complex operational and financial initiatives Equal Employment Opportunity Statement Tuckahoe Union Free School District is an Equal Opportunity Employer and does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, creed, national origin, citizenship status, age, disability, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, marital status, military status, genetic information, or any other characteristic protected by applicable law.
