Posting: Teacher Aide – Extended School Year (ESY) Tuckahoe Union Free School District (UFSD) Position: Teacher Aide (ESY Program) Location: Tuckahoe UFSD, Elementary, Middle & High School Program Dates: July 1 – August 11, 2026 Days/Hours: Monday through Friday schedule, 8:30 AM – 2:30 PM Compensation: As Per Contract Job Summary Tuckahoe Union Free School District is seeking caring and dependable Teacher Aides to support students during the Extended School Year (ESY) program. The ESY program provides specialized instruction and related services to students with disabilities to help maintain academic, social, and behavioral skills over the summer months. Job Description The Teacher Aide works under the direct supervision of a certified teacher and/or teaching assistant to support the overall classroom environment. This role focuses on assisting with daily classroom activities, supporting student participation, and helping maintain a safe and structured learning setting. Teacher Aides may assist students with basic academic tasks, daily routines, and personal care needs while ensuring students remain engaged and supported throughout the school day.
