This position is ideal for an educator who is passionate about building strong mathematical foundations while preparing students for success on the New York State Regents Examination in Algebra I. The successful candidate will support students in developing critical thinking, problem-solving skills, and confidence in mathematics within a structured and engaging learning environment. Job Description The Algebra Teacher is responsible for delivering rigorous, standards-aligned instruction in 8th grade Algebra. This role includes designing engaging lessons, differentiating instruction to meet the needs of diverse learners, and using data to guide instructional decisions. The teacher will help students transition from foundational math skills to higher-level abstract reasoning while fostering a positive and inclusive classroom culture.
