Job Summary:Seeking a dedicated and qualified Leave Replacement Math Teacher for the Tuckahoe Middle school and High School team.Classroom Management:Create and maintain a structured, respectful, and supportive classroom environment.Establish clear rules and routines that promote positive behavior and academic success.Manage student behavior effectively to ensure an optimal learning environment.Collaboration & Communication:Collaborate with grade-level team members, special education staff, and support personnel.Communicate regularly with parents/guardians regarding student progress, behavior, and learning goals.Participate in grade-level or department meetings as necessary.Administrative & Professional Duties:Maintain accurate records of student attendance, assignments, assessments, and grades.Follow the lesson plans provided by the regular teacher (when applicable), adapting as needed.Uphold school policies, procedures, and expectations.Skills and Competencies:Strong classroom management and organizational skills.Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.Ability to quickly integrate into an existing team and classroom setting.A commitment to fostering a supportive and respectful learning environment.NYS certification requiredPlease forward the cover letter and resume: Jannet Porras, Personnel Clerk Office of Human Resources Tuckahoe Union Free School District 65 Siwanoy Boulevard, Eastchester, NY 10709 Or apply online at www.olasjobs.org.
