TITLE: ITINERANT ART TEACHER Certified PositionFull-time 10-Month Itinerant position Affiliation: Teachers’ AssociationRegional School Success Location: Regional Alternative School–BOCES Campus & Component Districts DUTIES: Teacher will be responsible for teaching Visual Art to students at participating school districts, including the TST BOCES Regional Alternative School and Groton Jr./Sr. High School. The successful candidate will develop and deliver engaging art curriculum aligned with the NYS Visual Arts Standards, appropriate for grade level taught. The teacher will work cooperatively with staff in participating districts to integrate Art into the school curriculum, maintain appropriate student records and administer assessments of student performance. The teacher will perform other duties as assigned. QUALIFICATIONS: New York State Certification in Art Education. Experience teaching Secondary Art is preferred. START DATE: September 5, 2024, OR as soon as possible. SALARY: $54,000 (2024-2025 full-time base salary) plus additional salary credit for relevant experience and/or education.
