Special Education Teacher 12:1:2, Special ClassWith approximately 4,000 students, Troy is a small urban school district in NY’s Capital Region.  Our learning community values our ethnic, social and cultural diversity.Troy City School District has an opening for a Special Education Teacher, Special Class 12:1:2,.  Position is full-time, probationary, and will begin in January 2026.  Must have valid NYS certification. Experience working with young students who have moderate/severe language, cognition and motor needs is preferred. Experience with teaching through adapting methods, materials and technology to meet students' individual needs and abilities within a special class setting is needed. The ability to work collaboratively with teaching assistants and related service providers to meet the needs of students is required.  Step salary based on experience and TTA contract.
