As a growing agency, we are passionate about helping children reach their full potential, and we are looking for a motivated, reliable, and compassionate Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our team.Position Overview: We are looking to hire a dynamic and compassionate pediatric COTA for the start of the 2025-2026 school year. As a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant at NYT Kids, you will work alongside a supportive team of professionals to provide high-quality therapy services to children with a variety of developmental, physical, and cognitive needs. The role involves implementing individualized therapy plans, supporting the treatment process, and ensuring a positive and engaging therapy experience for children and their families.Key Responsibilities:Assist in the development and implementation of individualized therapy plans under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist (OTR/L).Work directly with young children (mostly preschool age) to improve their fine motor skills, coordination, sensory processing, and daily living skills.Provide hands-on therapy using a variety of therapeutic techniques and activities.Document and track progress, providing feedback to the supervising OT.Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care for each child.Maintain a professional and positive demeanor when interacting with children, families, and colleagues.Attend team meetings, participate in ongoing professional development, and contribute to a supportive work environment.Qualifications:Valid and current COTA certification in the state of New York.Experience working with pediatric populations in a clinical or school-based setting.Passionate, motivated, and dedicated to providing quality care.Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with children, families, and colleagues.Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.Reliable, professional, and committed to providing excellent therapy services.Experience with a variety of pediatric conditions, including developmental delays, autism spectrum disorder, sensory processing issues, and motor skill challenges.What We Offer:Competitive salary of $60,000 per year.Comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, and vision coverage.401(k)Paid time off (PTO) and holiday pay.Ongoing clinical support.Opportunities for professional development, growth, and advancement within the agency.A collaborative and supportive work environment where your contributions are valued.Why NYT Kids?
