Our services are diversified, and we pride ourselves in working with the most experienced clinicians who are committed to making a difference in the lives of others.?Responsibilities:Assessing the student’s needsProviding service coordination: coordinating and consulting with parents, school staff and other therapists about the student’s needs and carryover strategiesImplementing the student’s Individualized Education Program (IEP) in the classroom or home settingPlanning lessons and activities based on the goals of the student’s IEPAdapting teaching methods and providing resources to meet the needs of the studentCompleting quarterly progress reportsCompleting annual review reportsCompleting session notes and billing paperworkParticipating in Committee on Preschool Special Education (CPSE) meetings in person or via teletherapy Qualifications:Bachelor’s and/or Master’s Degree from an approved, accredited four year college in the specified area of teaching special educationNew York State License: Initial professional students with disabilities (Birth to grade 2) or Permanent Special Education
