Job DescriptionThe Child School/Legacy High School is a NY state approved Non-public school for students with learning challenges in grades K-12.We are located on picturesque Roosevelt Island in New York city. For the 2022 fall session, we are seeking teaching assistants for our Elementary and Legacy High School Program.Our students, with support and guidance from our faculty and specialists, and enrolled in small classes with ratio of 12:1:1, transition to post secondary college options. Candidates with NYS teaching assistant certification should apply. Candidates enrolled in a college program and with pending certifications can also apply.
