Howard, Jr., Superintendent of SchoolsCLEANERDISTINGUISHING FEATURES OF THE CLASS: This is a routine manual work requiring efficient performance of simple house cleaning tasks. A cleaner works under immediate supervision of routine recurring assignments, receiving specific instructions on each new or unusual assignment. The work is occasionally reviewed by inspection and when complaints are received. Does related work as required.TYPICAL WORK ACTIVITIES:(ILLUSTRATIVE ONLY)1. Sweeps and mops floors;2. Dusts woodwork, furniture and other articles;3. Collects paper and rubbish;4. Washes windows and polishes furniture;5.
