Sleepy Hollow High School World Language Teacher (Spanish) / Anticipated Opening The Public Schools of the Tarrytowns are seeking candidates for an anticipated full-time, tenure-track position at Sleepy Hollow High School beginning in September 2026. The successful candidate will have a strong knowledge of the NYS Approved Spanish Curriculum (including college-level Spanish) and the Checkpoint B exam, demonstrate an understanding of effective pedagogical practices that promote a student-centered learning environment, have experience working with a diverse student population, and feel comfortable integrating technology as an instructional and learning tool. Appointment Type: Probationary Effective: September 1, 2026 Required NYS Certification: Spanish 7-12 Salary and benefits per the TAT Contract—range for teachers based on experience and education.
