The successful candidate will have a strong knowledge of the NYS Social Studies Frameworkand the CRE Framework, demonstrate an understanding of effective pedagogical practices that promote astudent-centered learning environment, have experience working with a diverse student population, andfeel comfortable integrating technology as an instructional and learning tool. The candidate must hold NYScertification in Social Studies (Gr. 7 – 12); dual certification in SWD or ELL a plus.
