Sleepy Hollow High SchoolWorld Language Department Chairperson/Spanish Teacher The Public Schools of the Tarrytowns are seeking candidates for an anticipated full-time, tenure-track position at Sleepy Hollow High School beginning in September 2025. The successful candidate will have a strong knowledge of the NYS Approved Spanish Curriculum (including college-level Spanish) and the Checkpoint B exam, demonstrate an understanding of effective pedagogical practices that promote a student-centered learning environment, have experience working with a diverse student population, and feel comfortable integrating technology as an instructional and learning tool. The candidate must hold NYS certification in Spanish (Gr. 7 – 12) and a NYS School Building or District Leader Certification.
