Supervisor Social & Emotional Learning and Community EngagementThe Supervisor of Social & Emotional Learning and Community Engagement will coordinate and implement social and emotional learning programs throughout the district and the community. Responsible for community outreach and awareness on how SEL connects to our programs such as DESSA, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Restorative Practices, and Anti-bullying. The successful candidate will provide exceptional outcomes for students, families, and staff and mitigate barriers to student success. Key Responsibilities include but are not limited to:Develop partnerships to execute the design and implementation of SEL programs within the district and within the community (community gatherings, family events, staff SEL, and student incentive systems).Oversee all aspects of Horsemen SaturdayOversee, support, and develop community outreach to form strong external partnerships with stakeholders and other leaders. Collaborate with district administrators and faculty to plan, lead, and execute professional development for SEL programs and initiatives.Collaborate with administrators and faculty to ensure the curriculum and pedagogical approach effectively supports Social and Emotional Learning aligned with the district’s equity and inclusion policy.Lead monthly walkthroughs to review SEL across all school sites.Administer, collect, and analyze SEL-related surveys and data.Review data to ensure the fidelity of all program data systems and high-quality data collection.Support with the design, adaptation, and execution of MTSS as it relates to SEL, providing instruction, guidance, and interventions to staff, faculty, and students with Tier 1, Tier 2, and Tier 3.Assist in the supervision of social workers with regard to SEL.Additional SEL and community-related duties as per the direction of the Superintendent of Schools or his/her designee. Required NYS Certification(s): NYS SDL/SDA (School District Leader/Administrator) + NYS Certified Special Education, School Psychologist, Social Worker, or other related fieldAppointment Type: Probationary Track Effective: September 1, 2025 (10 month position)Salary: Salary and benefits per the TAA Contract—range for teachers based on experience and education.
