Physical Education TeacherThe successful Physical Education teacher will teach a NYS standards-based curriculum and will promote physical fitness, health education, teamwork and sportsmanship while establishing safe and inclusive environments for all students. The Physical Education teacher will design and deliver lessons which will reach a diverse population of students, inclusive of students with varying abilities and English language learners. Key responsibilities include but are not limited to: Plan and deliver engaging, NYS standards-based lessons aligned in PE education including fitness, sports, and health education, evaluate student progress and provide constructive feedback, adjust instruction to meet individual fitness levels and needs, and share resources with colleagues and contribute to school-wide wellness initiatives.Required NYS Certification(s): Physical EducationAppointment Type: Probationary TrackEffective: September 1, 2025Salary: Salary and benefits per the TAT Contract—range for teachers based on experience and education.Must attend New Educators’ Meetings (August dates TBD), and Superintendent’s Conference Days, August 27th & 28th).
