The successful candidate will havea strong knowledge of the NYS Approved Spanish Curriculum (including college-level Spanish) and theCheckpoint B exam, demonstrate an understanding of effective pedagogical practices that promote astudent-centered learning environment, have experience working with a diverse student population, andfeel comfortable integrating technology as an instructional and learning tool. The candidate must holdNYS certification in Spanish (Gr. 7 – 12) and a NYS School Building or District Leader Certification.
