Full-Year Leave ReplacementComputer Science/Math TeacherSleepy Hollow High SchoolDepartment Chair* The successful candidate will have a strong knowledge of computer science for high school students and can develop and implement engaging lesson plans and projects that align with state and national standards. Establish a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and fosters a love of learning. Use effective teaching strategies to accommodate diverse learning styles and abilities of students. Keep up to date with the latest technologies, trends, and research related to computer science education. Collaborate with other teachers and staff to integrate technology into other subject areas and school-wide events.Certification: Math NYS 7-12*School Building or District Leaders Certification a plus for Department Chair Vacancy with an additional stipendEffective: September 1, 2023 (Will be expected to attend New Teacher Orientation, August 25, 28, 29, and Supt.
