Experience developing and implementing project-based curricula in a technology-driven music classroom. Primary Responsibilities:Teach Exploratory Music classes to students in grades 6-8Utilize current music technology to deliver innovative project-based, culturally responsive music curriculum.Create a positive classroom culture utilizing effective classroom management which incorporates a student-centered and inclusive pedagogy. Be willing to collaborate with colleagues to develop cross-curricular learning experiences.Prepare and deliver lesson plans and instructional materials to facilitate learning within all levels of experience and age groups.Regularly attend local and regional Professional Development workshops and activitiesCertification(s): NYS certification in MusicEffective: September 1, 2023 (Will be expected to attend New Teacher Orientation prior to the start of the school.)
