GROUNDSKEEPER - TUESDAY - SATURDAY 6:00 AM - 2:30 PMRESPONSIBILITIESMows lawns, trims hedges, rolls, reseeds and fertilizes lawns and cares for trees, shrubs and flowers.Removes snow and ice from sidewalks, driveways, etc.Operates a variety of grounds maintenance equipment.Participates in the maintenance of recreational area.Performs a variety of related grounds maintenance tasks.Participates in miscellaneous jobs inside buildings during the winter months, as required.FULL PERFORMANCE KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIESA knowledge of the accepted procedures and practices of grounds maintenance work.Ability to understand and follow written or oral instructions.Physical endurance; good physical condition.MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONSOne year of satisfactory experience in grounds maintenance work.Qualified candidates should apply on OLAS with a resume to: Isha Morgenstern, Executive Director of Human Resources, Syosset Central School District, P.O.
