IN ADDITION TO APPLYING ON OLAS, TO COMPLETE THE APPLICATION PROCESS PLEASE VISIT OUR WEBSITE AT:www.swboces.org/JoinOurTeamPRIMARY PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:Support the Southern Westchester BOCES Mission, Vision, Values, and Goals.Provide training and support to classroom staff related to behavioral interventions and data collection, tracking, and analysis in coordination with school leaders.Complete Functional Behavior Assessments and develop Behavior Intervention Plans in collaboration with school teams.Special Education Instruction supporting students with Autism Spectrum needs and Developmental Disabilities.Identify student learning challenges and styles and develop and implement differentiated lessons and programs.In collaboration with instructional teams, develop IEP goals and monitor progress.Work collaboratively with school teams to meet student academic, social-emotional, and behavioral needs.Communicate with parents/guardians and other stakeholders consistently to support students. QUALIFICATIONS:New York State Students with Disabilities Certification (K – 12 preferred)New York State Board Certification as a Behavior Analyst (BCBA)Master’s Degree in Special EducationThorough understanding of Students with Disabilities and the continuum of services.Knowledge of the Next Generation Learning StandardsKnowledge and understanding of Therapeutic Special Education programs.Minimum of three (3) years of special education teaching experience preferred.
