PRIMARY PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:Design, implement and coordinate services for K-12 instructional and administrative software solutions.Understand the management and implementation of enterprise instructional and administrative solutions and their interoperability among multiple platforms;Understand the MTSS process, how data informs instruction and has experience using and implementing data dashboards.Understand curriculum and instruction K-12 and know pedagogical theories and instructional design principles for technology.Directly supervise a professional learning team and work alongside cross-functional teams within and across the organization.Coordinate and deliver professional learning to district leaders and teachers.Understand adult learning theory and recognize best practices of how adults learn.Coordinate and support educational partner relations. Understand contracts and provide Profit and Loss status reports to organization leaders.Aptitude and a willingness to recognize new trends in educational technology.Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize multiple requests and projects. CIVIL SERVICE QUALIFICATIONS:MINIMUM ACCEPTABLE TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE: Either (a) Bachelor’s degree* and three (3) years of experience where the primary function of the position was conducting training using educational technology**; or (b) Master’s degree* and two (2) years of experience as outlined in (a).SUBSTITUTION: A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree* in Education and possession of current teacher’s certification may be substituted for one (1) year of the required experience.**Educational technology is defined as a variety of technological tools (e.g., Smartboards, Internet, digitalized video, educational software, personal computers and related equipment) used in order to improve and enhance classroom instruction.Priority given to candidates who are currently on a Civil Service List for this title.Candidates must have either taken or be eligible to take the civil service exam for this title and be reachable by the rule of three on the list.
