POSTING DATE: June 11, 2025POSITION: 8th Grade Science & Living Environment Teacher DESCRIPTION:The Stillwater Central School District is accepting applications for an anticipated full-time, probationary Middle School Science Teacher. This teacher will be responsible for teaching 8th Grade Science as well as a section of Accelerated Regents Living Environment. Candidates for this position must possess a valid NYS Science certification. This would consist of a Living Environment certification and General Science 7-12 certification or the equivalent. Qualified candidates should apply on OLAS and submit a complete application. A complete application will consist of a cover letter, updated resume, transcripts, three letters of reference, and proof of certification. An ideal candidate for this position would have demonstrated outcomes on the NYS Science 8 Assessment and/or the Regents Living Environment exam. Selected applicants will be invited to interview in-person with building stakeholders on June 26th with a tentative Board of Education appointment on July 9th.The Stillwater Central School District is a charming, rural UPK-12 district serving approximately 1,000 students, located approximately ten miles from the Northway for easy access to all locations north and south.
