ANNOUNCEMENT OF ANTICIPATED VACANCY POSITION: Social Studies Teacher (Grades 7-12) AVAILABLE: September 1, 2026 DUTIES: Serve as a Social Studies teacher at the Jr./Sr. High School level; plan and provide for appropriate learning experiences for students in a variety of educational settings. Participate in curriculum development; assume general supervisory duties as assigned by the superintendent; carry out other duties as may, from time to time, be assigned by the building principal or superintendent. QUALIFICATIONS: Must have appropriate certification and fingerprint/background check by NY State Education Department. REPORTS TO: Building Administrators and Superintendent WORKS WITH: Students, staff, faculty, administration, parents and community SALARY: Approximately $53,106-$98,331 (Salary will be commensurate with prior experience.)
